Changing partition of swap/page file

Thread Starter
Typically I have always moved my page file from the C:\ drive to a larger, faster drive, usually my D:\ drive which uses a separate SSD.

After some researching, I read that the memory dump will use the swap file to create accessible logs in case of a crash.

Is there a way to have these logs report to the page file on my D:\ drive or will I always need to create a 1024MB swap file for my C:\ drive specifically for this reason?

Help!

Just turn off the memory dump feature, it''as pretty useless anyway.

I have my pagefile on D:/ but my memory dumps are always on C:/ anyway, I don't think they are related.

Or i could be talking out of my ass.

Vista introduced the "DedicatedDumpFile" registry entry, so now you can separate them
