Realtemp and Coretemp are reading the same exact temperatures for me on my i5-2550K. What temperature is it you are trying to find out? The temperatures on Coretemp shows the actual core temperatures. Other monitoring programs will also include the temperature of the cpu socket area.

The temperature shown on coretemp are your actual cores. Same with realtemp. HWMonitor I haven't used for a while but I think that labels your temperatures like
CPU -
Core 1 -
Core 2 -
Core 3 -
Core 4 -

and so on and so forth
