Power management not working

Thread Starter
Hi,
So lately I've noticed that no matter what I do (whether it'd be sitting on desktop idle, or browsing the internet), the Adaptive power saving feature doesn't kick in.
It used to work fine before, but now it's at high clocks constantly.

I also have ASUS EPU mode enabled, and ASUS SmartDoctor installed. Tried disabling EPU, doesn't help.

Anyone have any idea? Help appreciated.

EDIT:
It's as if something keeps the clocks high, I don't even have Aero enabled. I tried setting Maximum Power Savings in Power Options, not even that helps.

Do you have dual monitors or anything running in the background?

I do! I disabled my second monitor and that did the trick! How weird, never had that before with both running (or at least don't remember having it, started running another monitor a couple weeks back).
Anyhow thanks a lot man, I'll try changing some more settings now that I know what's causing it.
