It's a Phenom I buddy. This thing is terrible, and is absolutely bottlenecking my 6950.

Ohhh.... well AFAIK, the Athlon 64 and Phenom 1 had the same IPC though.

And I guess to your credit, I'd be able to get a higher clock than 2.4GHz if I wasn't so OCD about keeping the fan noise to a minimum.

Lol, what resolution are you playing at? If you are talking about bottlenecking, my card is seriously bottlenecked with 720p

My max CPu clock is above his as is my max stable cpu oc, these are air results.

hope no one quoted me.

Or he sucks at OCing. I've noticed that quite a bit, reviewed chips end up requiring more voltage than normal chips for the same OC..Weird, eh? rolleyes.gif

So many people these days just pump voltage to 1.4 and up the multiplier. Shake and bake OCing.

Yeah, it's more like Phenom II X4 to Llano A8's. Slight IPC gain, but they both clock the same pretty much.

Uh..Last I checked the A8s hit ~3.6-3.8 max, but PhIIs can hit quite a bit higher? (4.0-4.2)

1080P. I'd probably have 50% higher frames if I had a 2500k, game dependent.

So are LCDs when you view pages with lighter colours, its like staring at a low brightness lightbulb. CRTs have better colour reproduction than LCDs too.
