Don't have a Thermalright. I do have a NF-F12. What color were you thinking? Remember...you can't dye something lighter. Only darker.

Thanks Father Fuzzy. I still plan to do a guide....but I've been completely monopolized with my build. I did put some more pics of the final dye batch in my build log (see sig).

Awesome thread here. Just a question about when you dye the molex connectors, does the dye get scratch marks in it when you plug/unplug it?

Nope. The dye is permeating the plastic. It's not just a coating on top of it. If you try it...post some pics!

Will do! Tho atm I'm in the early stages of planning my build out so I've been looking around to see all the things I could possible try. I'm was thinking of doing a red/black build but there is millions of them around so I'm thinking of trying a red/blue build but none of the sleeving/tubing colours are exactly what I'm looking for

Hey Chris great work here. I have all my cables sleeved with mdpc in heat shrinkless. If I say, just chucked the whole 24-pin into the dye pot do you think the heat would cause the sleeve to expand and mess everything up?

I know for sure that the connectors (nylon) don't soften until over 200C, and the sleeve is made of something like PET so should be similar. But if you can, check a single sleeved wire first to see if you get the desired result.
