Correct me if I misunderstand. And thank you for clearing this up for me.

High asic % cards need less voltage to hit stock clocks. This equals less heat. Now, when you go to overclock, that's all thrown out the window due to the silicon lottery. All things being equal, at stock voltage high asic = less heat.

thats exactly.mine is 1.049 v at stock speed.still i need it to bump it up to 1,174 for 1225/1600.maybe the asic maybe is a matter in higher volts
