Razer goliathus

Hi i was wondering how is this mousepad compared to the qck+? im tired of having my mouse feel like iim dragging it through a wet cloth after sometime of gamingi always gotta turn it around and use a cold area of the pad to get decent glide... this even happens on 1 week old ones. should i get the speed or control one?. im a low sens gamer 50-60cm per 360. 800 dpi 1 sens usually. id want it to not be as slick as plastic but not as soft and non glidy and gooey feeling like what happens to a qck+

also looking for an alternative... noticed that the extended is too short vertically as i like to lay my entire forarm on the mat on the desk. suggestions for other mousemat makes is appreciated thanks!

gives a higher tracking rate before malfunction on several of my mice that i have tested.
a lot smoother than qck+ when I first got it, but after a year, it seems to be like the puretrak talent and feels a lot slower than my qck+

I think that the Goliathus Speed has a little bit less static friction and a more consistent/smooth glide than the QcK+. I'm still a bit unsure about how long it'll retain its glide for, if it's like the Talent then it should take several months for it to get worn out with a lot of static friction and a really slow glide.

No idea about the control pad, some people say that it's faster than the Speed with less static friction but I haven't tried one.

My Goliathus Speed was perfect for 2 months of moderate use. After that the surface is a joke. The only cloth mousepad that retained more or less the same glide is the Corepad C1. I had it for almost a year now and the static friction is about the same (never washed it).

I've heard good things about the C1, how is the glide compared to the Goliathus?

From fastest to slowest
New: Goliathus > C1 > Qck
Used: C1 > Qck > Goliathus

450

It's very smooth, but doesn't look/feel like these heat-treated cloth mousepads. It's hard to explain. The Goliathus feels faster in the beginning, but wears out just as fast. After almost an year the C1 still has very little static friction and you can feel that with small mouse movements (like aiming with a sniper). Other than that it's 5 mm thick, 450 x 400 mm and all black (which is a plus nowadays with these optical sensors). Another thing i can think of is that i always get the smallest lift of distance with this pad.

I may have to check it out then, thanks for the info.
