One of the sticks of ram(the ram thats in my sig) came DOA . I think I want to try a different brand. Or maybe just some actual gaming ram for the fun of it. I was wondering if it was worth the money to go from

to

Or maybe there is another kind. How much of a difference will i notice? Would it be worth it?

Thanks in advance.

If I was in your position, no I wouldn't go for that. Not quite worth it. Just overclock your current ram.

But if you have the extra money, and you are a serious gamer, meh, why not? There are other brands that you could consider though. ex. OCZ
