$5000 budget computer room/office from scratch

Sovim moving into my first home thos month and am going to be using one of the bedrooms for a home office/computer room but id like to get feedback on how to outfit it. I dont want ikea furniture and i need the following:

New:
-display
-desk $2200
Del+Mar+72%22+W+Executive+L%2DShape+Desk+with+Bow+Front+and+Right+Return.jpg

-mouse
-keyboard
-speakers
-router (linksys ea4500)
EA4500_Main01.jpg

Any other suggestions on what i need or should outfit the room with? I also may be willing toup my budget if someone can recommend a nice 32"ish LED tv that i can mount to watch apple tv and cable.

By home office/computer room do you mean just that? Or man cave? What will be your usage primarily for is? Gaming, programming, casual usage, music? I would suggest making a big custom desk yourself, then maybe an eyefinity setup with a wallmounted tv for media. Need to be more specific please.

Its going to be primarily used for gaming(guild wars 2) and media with the occassional business call. One of my biggest issues in the past with computer rooms is ambient temperature so i want to look into a floor climate control unit as well.

what do you mean by flooring cooling ? im from australia and our cooling is either in the ceiling or on the wall up high... hot air rises smile.gif
are you very good with your hands?
build your own desk for sure or mod one...and either face mount 3 screens to the wall or build a false wall and recess your screens and speakers into it (you can get speakers mad to be inserted into a gyprock wall btw) smile.gif it'll also hide your cables that way smile.gif and you could hide a modem/router behingd it too(hate the look of modems and routers i dunno why)
the seperate tv is a good idea you could just have your rig hooked up to that too with some sorta hdmi switch box i think:) or build a cheap htpc
sorry just telling you some of my ideas for when i get my own
