high capacity SSD : which to choose?

Thread Starter
Hi. I am currently in the market to buy a single high capacity SSD. This will ultimately house all my games & music and I am not looking at putting two drives together in RAID0.

I am looking at either:
  • OCZ Vertex 3 - 480 GB
  • ]OCZ Agility 3 - 480 GB
  • OCZ Vertex 4 - 512 GB
  • Intel 520 - 480 GB
  • Crucial M4 - 512 GB

The cheapest is the Agility 3 at ~$700.00 AUD, whilst the most expensive is the Vertex 3 at ~$1050 AUD as the 512 GB Vertex 4 is currently not available to me.

Price is not really the determinate factor for me as I don't mind spending more for a better product, however I also know that I won't really see much difference between the performance of any of the drives, especially if I am using it for games & music!!!

Cheers, krs

Either: Vertex 4, Corsair Performance Pro, M4, or Samsung 830...which is the cheapest in 512GB size.
