Bitspower Carbon Black

Thread Starter
Does anyone know how or where to get the Bitspower Carbon Black series of fittings? I've looked in every online store imaginable, and can't find them.

Alternate path.....has anyone replaced the green o-rings on the Bitspower matte black fittings with a different color? Easy to do? The matte black seems to be a little easier to find...but the green would not go with planned build.

How bout directly from BP?

And why would you need colored o-rings. It is not like you will see them once fitting is tightened to thread.

Thanks. I've played around on the .tw site before, but I don't see where to 'buy' them. None of the item listings have a 'buy' or 'purchase' option for them. Have you been able to buy from the site?

That site scares me a little, since it is so unfinished. i.e., when you click on 'Shipping' , or 'Returns' or 'Q&A'....its all blank screens.

In some of the build logs on OCN, you can definitely see the green o-ring on the bitspower matte black fittings. Probably depends on what type of fitting it is, and what it is connected to.

As the site says, You have to email them the part list and they will respond with a quote/shipping cost.

Oh. Not sure how I missed that, but I see it now. Thanks. Kind of a bummer though.

Agreed. It is kind of a PITA, but if you want the CB fittings that's the only place to get this from.

I have plans to place an order for many CB fittings within the next few weeks. I'll report back here with how the process was handled.

You can contact them with a list of things you want (model number) and ask for a quotation + delivery.. For your reference: Shop@Bitspower.Com.TW

Just speak simple english.. as they don't have any native speakers and asking them anything will just be replied with broken grammar but enough to get the point through.

Last I ordered from them, they do have black, red, green and blue o-rings for sale, I did order some blue and black ones, it's really easy to remove, since you can literally just rip out the old ones.. You are not planning to recycle them for re-use right? biggrin.gif Anyways, yes it's easy to replace the o-rings, just need a pair of needle nose pliers and carefully tug, pull..

I have matt black and carbon fittings, they both look the same to me inside the case, unless you are planning on having a 100w light bulb pointing at it, you are not going to see the difference.

I can't seem to find the pic I wanted, but I remember noticing the Matte black fittings were shiny compared the the Carbon Black.

This is not noticed once installed?

Good to know. Thanks. Might be safer to go with the matte black then, because if I end up needing just a few extra fittings...I don't want to mess with an overseas order. I'll swap out colored rings for those that will show. Thanks again.

Just a little more info on ordering direct from Bitspower if you do change your mind and go that way. I ordered a bunch of their red fittings last year and the only method of email communication that worked was sending a message using their web form "contact us" page. Regular email, either through my ISP's (verizon DSL) web client or my desktop email client, resulted in bouncebacks for some reason. It was really frustrating until I figured that out doh.gif

I also had a minor issue with a few fittings arriving with some damage from shipping because they weren't individually protected with bubble wrap; there was only a thin layer lining the box. BP handled the issue perfectly however by mailing me replacements at no charge, also without requiring that I send back the damaged pieces thumb.gif It was also very pleasing that I was able to order fittings that don't appear in their catalog for the product line I chose (deep blood red) by selecting SKU's from different fittings lines and essentially making up the product codes... basically if they make it for one finish, they can make it for any, or at least that was my experience as of last November.

I've wondered too why the only fittings that retailers carry are the matte black and shining silver lines since appearance and customization is such a big part of building a loop...
