I know that.

However, at no point in that interview is "720p" or "30fps" used, so I am asking where people are getting their info that the game is locked to 720p and capped at 30fps?

People are trying to directly translate the interview, but Japanese isn't directly translatable to English.

Using one translator will tell you that they are not changing "resolution" of the visuals. Using another will tell you that they are not changing "definition" of the visuals.

Therefore, with the statements so open to interpretation and the fact that you cant just simply translate Japanese into English without knowing certain context, how are people coming to the concrete conclusion that the game will be locked at 720p and capped at 30fps?

Also, it's interesting you state that LA Noire was locked to 720p and 30fps. Why didn't we see any uproar?

I even played the game and didn't even notice that fact.....given that, even if this game is sealed to the same fate, I'm now 100% sure I don't care.

Just because you cannot read Japanese does not mean the information does not exist.

Nobody is denying the facts of the interview... He never says the game is locked to 30fps or 720p specifically in that interview. He just says you won't necessarily get 60fps. Entirely different. There isn't even "30" in the text anywhere, so no matter what translation you use, it can not be him implicitly stating it will be locked to 30fps.

It could be locked to 30 anyways though lol.

Well there's nothing that says it's supporting more native-resolutions and allowing uncapped frame-rates.
As to LA Noire I didn't notice either, but that's because it did have resolution and graphical-options for me to choose (At least when I played it.)

And you could hack it to 60FPS and it went super smooth.

Hacking it to 60 fps did not disturb facial animations?

And no, it did not, it ran very smooth. Everything looked amazing.

They also didn't say that the game will be usable with headphones in that interview either. By your logic, that means that we need to make a petition to get the game to work with headphones because there's nothing in the interview that states the game will definately work with headphones.

Why are you always so hostile to me? Hacking it 60 fps did not mess up facial animations?

Not hostile, just pointing out misinformation. And yes, it ran smooth @ 60FPS and animations were still in sync.

Yes, but by your logic we shouldn't care that the game might be capped at 30fps and forced to play under 720p. Instead we just go with the assumption that it might not be this case, but we should just wait for it to launch and potentially be riddled with problems. Let people complain so there's a chance they did intend for a 'pure-replica' console port on the PC and change their minds for possibly better (Both Namco and From Software.)

Driving seems to be different at 60 fps.

There are also people that think LA Noire port was bad.

If the enemies in Dark Souls move based on frames instead of time, it could make combat very weird.
