It's a direct slap the face.

You don't care that they actually went out of their way to bring it to PC even though they had zero plans to do so? Give an inch take a mile...

I never expected them to go back and incorporate PC exclusive enhancements or anything of that sort. I think we can all understand that. Keeping the game at 30fps, while sucks, I can live with. But to lock it at 720p? That's just asinine.

This will be a no buy for me if I can't, at the very least, set the game at my monitor's native resolution. There's no excuse for not including the most basic of basic PC options and I don't think it's that much to ask for.

They bring it to PC and change nothing?

I have a PS3 already - why buy it on PC if you're going to make the exact same game?

I expect 60FPS, and full resolution support, and the ability to map controls.

That is not taking a mile. That's basic, ANY GAME, since the mid 90's, has pretty much had these options. They don't take much effort.

I don't care if they bring it to PC and don't put any effort into it at all. Yes.

Now, if they did something along the lines of Alan Wake, a few enhancements, patch support, Alan Wake's team actually did a "proper" port.

They should go the Alan Wake route. A few PC features, like FoV, remap controls, turning some settings on or off, 60FPS, and resolution support. Then release it on Steam for 40$ ~

I'd buy it in an instant.

And no, that is not asking to much, if you say it is, then you're admitting they don't want to even try. They aren't even going to try making it work with KB+M. They are just adding controller support and calling it a day.

Lazy, not really trying, why do they deserve my money?

Like I said, if things remain like this, I won't even pirate it.

No graphics options are a bit disappointing but who are we kidding? We are extremely lucky to be getting this game for pc to begin with, so let's just be grateful for that.

Well, I was accepting most of these things. But the reason I never played Dark Souls on the Ps3 thats in my house is because of the Controller. The camera controls were hard to deal with. I was hoping for a mouse and keyboard support and I am probably a biggest supporter for the pc version.. I had begging for this game to be on pc since i first seen Demon Souls. I will pick it up as an future investment lets say.

Don't mind at all playing with a controller and GFWL, but severely limiting PC users to tweak settings (even resolution?) is enough for me to not buy it. Also, just read an article that someone posted earlier which said the max FPS is 30 and res. is 720p. Might as well just buy a used copy of Dark Souls for the 360! Geez!!

Right now, all we can do is just wait til they announce the final game. I'm sure they'll notice the negative response to their decisions, so they might change a helluva stuff

This is a bit frustrating. Lets hope these early reports turn out false, I do not want to play a game locked at 30 fps on my pc frown.gif

This really disappoints me
I don't know much about what it takes to port a game but all the ports I have played had decent KB+M, resolution, and uncapped FPS
I mean is it really that difficult? Its great their is new content for PC but couldn't they have cut that out so they could really touch up on optimization?

Sony continues to not really openly endorse pcs, so this is not surprising really.
