Airport is stupid name for wi-fi. "Hey Joe, I need help! I can't get my airport to work at the airport".Also, this whole PC vs Mac--Hey apple, what's the different between a mac and a computer? See that? Apple tries so hard to be "different" but failed.
Actually they do... but anyway... What? The router is called an Airport Extreme Base Station, and the utility is called Airport Utility. How is it a bad name? Why on earth would you have your AEBS at the Airport?

The latest version of Airport Utility is very iOS-like, and it was released on iOS as well. It's much simpler to use, although they did cut a few things out. I'm sure they'll add this back in when needed, if not some time before.

Still...I can't fathom Apple being so completely idiotic that they'd let this "feature" continue as IPv6 hits. Just have to wonder why they did it in the first place.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. And how is the price inflated? It's like $199 or something.
They made the whole app a lot simpler to use, and they cut out some (probably obscure) features. It'll be added back in when needed, if not sooner.
