I believe chiphell is blocking people from linking directly to their images, so they basically show a fake image unless you're viewing the picture directly from the chiphell page. With Google translate, you're not viewing the actual chiphell page, so the images are getting blocked.

It was blocked even when using the direct URL, but it's fine right now. All results seem to be at stock except some power usage at 4.6 and 4.8GHz I guess. Temps went above 60°C at stock from what I see but I have no idea what he's using to cool the CPU.

Just saw the pictures,

I think there is no compelling reason to upgrade from my 2600k

Maybe skip until 14nm processors?

Your browser was caching the fake images, so that's why you saw them even on the direct URL.

For anyone else having the problem, you can hit CTRL + F5 to reload the page without using the cache. That fixed the problem for me on Google Chrome. If that doesn't work, just clear the cache manually through your browser's settings page.

The end conclusion he just say its quite hot and cause of the lower tdp it clocks worse than sandy bridge. But he did edit his post saying 4.8 reached not much details.

I imagine with top of the line air cooling and a good case with good flow, which most on air overclockers should have by default, you can maintain a 4.3-4.5 24/7 overclock.

Basically he states in #242 that he could only achieve a 4.8Ghz OC. At 5.0G it boots but BSODs when entering windows and raising voltage to 1.47 yielded no results. Idle temps are 3x degrees C and load temps are 8x degrees. At load the HSF is cold and he suspects the heat isn't dissipating properly.

In summary

* TDP is at 95 W.
* Packaging is exactly the same as Sandy Bridge.
* Thermalright Archon is used as CPU cooling.
* At 3.9 GHz, full load temperature is 62 C (1.16 V).
* At 4.6 GHz, full load temperature is 78 C (1.25 V).
* At 4.8 GHz, full load temperature is 89 C (1.4 V).
* At 5.0 GHz, 1.47 V is needed to POST. BSOD as soon as Windows is booted.
* Stable with 2400 1T RAM set up. Can POST but BSOD at 2600. Corsair CMT16GX3M4X2133C9 2 x 4GB.
* Temperature drops really fast once in idle.
* System pulls 51.79 W at idle and 116.26 W at full load (AIDA64) with stock clock speed.
* System pulls 74.12 W at idle and 146.69 W at full load (AIDA64) with 4.6 GHz.
* System pulls 86.41 W at idle and 183.77 W at full load (AIDA64) with 4.8 GHz.
* If you can keep the temperature in check, IB is a great overclocker.
