Sig rig will not power on inside of lian li pc-q11a case

The case is unmodified aside from the led lighting and all the parts (including the power button and the front usb/audio) work fine when run on a card board box. I've removed the back i/o cover on the mobo and the led indicating that the mobo is getting power is on as well as the standby light on the wifi. The standoffs on this case are small and are attached to the side and this only started happening once my old power supply died. There are no issues with the case that I can see, (I've torn it apart at least 20 times) And I think either that it's haunted or that there is some inherent issue with making a case out of 100% aluminum. >.< Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Does it power on outside of the case? I am confused. Does it turn on, and then the power quits? Does it go for a while and then go out? Describe the problem.

OK for some stange reason after futher testing my motherboard powers on occasionally. And mostly when outside the case. The power supply does supply the right voltage still at a constant rate and the light that indicates that the mobo is receiving power is still on. Time for another RMA?

What do you mean powers on occasionally? It is not always the case, but nearly ever time something either works or it does not. If it works some times than you have a very strange problem.
