Get a 960t over that fx if you can, that fx is miles behind a 960t for the same price. Try staying away from bulldozer.

HD 6570 is pretty ****ty card lol since i'm using it at the moment. I bought this card when it came out so it was around 100$ but i regret SO MUCH that i could've waited 1 month or spent 20$ more to get hd 6670 ddr5 which is a totally new card...

I'm pretty much a guy like you, thinking about budget rigs since i'm not working so i'm pretty much relying on people's money (parents....etc)

What i would personally suggest that since your parts are worth 290$ (actually pounds) and you're saving 110$ (60 pounds), therefore invest all that money in the gfx card...and trust me, you won't regret it. YOu can get something like hd 7770 and pretty much set for an year or two with bulldozer...

YOu can also go for other cpu for the same price...but yea what i learnt is that bulldozer is not meant for gaming at all..

Have you thought about a Trinity APU? They should be out by June and will give you a lot more bang for buck in terms of gaming and PS. Plus you will be able to crossfire it with a hd7xxx gfx card for what should be a fairly serious system for the money. Also is there any reason why you would be using 7 Pro? you should be able to save a little money by going down to home premium.

Cheers

try to save up a bit of cash for at least a HD 7770 and try to get a reliable PSU from Seasonic/Corsair/Antec

The FX-4100 + 6570 option will be superseded by Socket FM2 and the next-generation Trinity APU in June.  Trinity APU will provide equal or better graphics performance than the 6570 as welll as better IPC, IPS and IPW than the FX of this generation, at lower power consumption levels.  Now is not the time to make this consideration.  When it comes, by the way, you will need to replace your DDR3-1333 RAM kit.  I predict that anything less than DDR3-1866 will bottleneck the high end Trinity APUs and with 1333Mhz memory you might be losing well over 50% of your potential all-around performance.

The Only thing is is that the 960t is about £30 more expensive than the 4100 and it is saving money that i could use to spend on A better graphics card , and also right now im using a intel pentium e2160 so i will see massive performance boost even if you guys say that the 4100 isnt good smile.gif

Okay i will invest in a 6670 or better as the 6670 is only an extra £5 ($8) Which Might give a little better performance over the 6570

And yeah i do like to spend as little as possible on a computer as i will probably spend any spare money on clothes

Would the phenom ii x4 965 be better ? smile.gif

The PhenomII x4 965 would be better. Especially since it looks like your not going to be overclocking.
