[NVIDIA GeForce] It's Here. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690. - Page 28

How would this be 690 when the 680 is out of stock all the time. releasing a GTX 690 is simply shoot yourself in the foot. They can't even yield enough GPU to supply the demands.

GTX 670 was mentioned with disabled CUDA or the defective part became disabled and named it GTX 670 which is a $350 card.

Only a few non-defective became GTX 680, this is why it is out of stock. They have plenty of defected GTX 680 and stripped down to GTX 670 right off.

And if you look very closely, in the top left corner, you will see the shooter clearly standing on the grassy knoll....

690 is kinda low end compared to 680 for example SLI 580 vs 590 there was far more flexibility in memory options, cooling, overclocking and noise...with a 690 you`re stuck with the stock card unless a waterblock is made. If Nvidia would do what AMD does and let you SLI a 690 with a 680 then I would buy one instantly.

The GK104 is a better chip than the GK110. I wouldn't compare them.
As for cooling options, the same goes for both camps dual GPUs and is to be expected.
nV will never mis-match GPUs in SLI. That's an AMD thing.

I'm not sure if anyone had tried but I went into photshop to attempt to pull up the shadows in hopes to find a little more detail. however they crushed the blacks so this is the best I could do. Still betting on the 690
