Feeding heated coolant to reservoir->pump->radiator bad idea? No difference?

Howdy,

I'm messing with some flow and loop options, and am curious if it is a bad idea to send heated coolant into the reservoir and pump, or if it makes no real difference.

I would have Reservoir->Pump->Gpu->Radiator1->Radiator2->CPU->Reservoir

The thought only occurred to me because I have extremely little space to work with and have some troublesome routing. It goes against my own thoughts to route it in this way, but would it really be a problem? Would this have a negative impact on the pump life?

Almost no difference

The water temperature varies by a very small amount as it goes through the loop.

It takes 264W to heat water at 1GPM by 1°C

For a typical CPU - GPU loop you will be looking at a maximum temperature variation of <3°C between the "hot" and "cold" water.

Most pumps are rated at ~50°C anyway, your coolant shouldn't be getting close to that unless you have very high ambients.

no difference, for the sake of minimal tube routing, otherwise I'd have to run tubing down to bottom of case, back up, then back down again, then back to the GPU... no no no, so I ran a loop with 3 GPU heat going directly into the reservoir, then pump, then into the radiator.. The reservoir was warm and that's about it.
