[SOLVED] Seeking Imaging/recovery Software for Computer Lab (Network Based)

Thread Starter
I have a project coming up that I am working on, that involves deploying a large number of computers (>90) to a few computer labs. All the computers will be the EXACT MODEL so the same drivers, software etc will be on each machine.

I will be configuring one machine with all the additional software and settings required, then I will make an image of that PC and deploy it to the rest of the computers.

Is there a software that I can use to deploy an image to bunch of computers at the same time over a network?

I was thinking something like Norton Ghost etc...

Can someone provide some suggestions please.

If you have a better suggestion on how to complete this task please share that as well.

If you are looking for an alternative to Windows Deployment Services, Norton Ghost has a feature call Ghost Server where you host the image on one machine and can connect to and image with that hosted image on multiple computers at once.

Multicast ghost.. I use that exclusively. It's a great feature.. If you're deploying Windows manchines make sure you sysprep the host image so each computer starts with OOBE. You don't want the SID's exactly the same..

Have fun.

Thanks for the information guys, I just need to do an overview of the clients network to see how it was setup initially, then decide what will be the best course of action for taking care of this situation.
