How does GPU power delivery work?

Just want to know how does it work, like from the PCI-E connector or PCI-E slot, to the core or mem. How does it get from 12v to 1.1v and how does it control that, what do mosfets, chokes/inductors, capacitors do and so on. Like for example 8800GT/GTS stock PCB, I think that's fairly simple for my mind to swallow redface.gif
Tried google but didn't show any good results.

I'm sorry if this question was answered previously, I haven't checked the forum yet tongue.gif
