EVGA GTX 680 FTW + 4GB ETA and [EU]Pricing - Page 3

post #21 of 31
2gb is pushing it for 2560x1600. I hit 1.8 easy on many dx11 games and 2.2 before.

I would be happy at 3gb but 4 is not bad.

$650 would be fine with me usd wise, $750 usd if its 4gb and waterblock.
post #22 of 31
Yeah... 4gb versions are supposed to accomodate higher resolution users. Just keep that in mind if you are worried you are going to lose sleep after paying a higher premium than the 2gb ones.

I'd like to see some non-reference designs that get rid of the stacked DVI and power connectors. I'd like the option of adding a waterblock and a new pci bracket and having a single slot card. Right now that's impossible.

ive seen things on hard forum saying that the eu price for the 680s is the same as the us except the currency symbol is different (ei £600 is $600) idk saw multiple forums of this same thing also. not really sure. annoyed i sold my 3 480s thinking the 680 would come standard with 4gb and only 2gb? *** nvidia? anyway running on a 460 atm lol.

hi JacobF,

I'm currently looking for a pair of EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB's and have a question;

On the US site they are $629.99 / €502.47 yet on the EU site they are € 629,90 / $787.38 ?

Why is there such a huge difference? What the hell did we do at this side of the pond to piss Evga off so much? eh-smiley.gif
