Going to use this thread to highlight my different servers, their uses, and other general info.
Almost done with school and I'll be doing some software / web development for myself as a side project
The Start:
Currently have the following systems:
AMD Phenom X4 9500 2.2Ghz - 8 GB DDR2 - 250 GB IDE
AMD Phenom II X6 1600T 3.8 Ghz - 16 GB DDR3 - 2 x 250 GB SATA
AMD Phenom II X6 1405T 3.0 Ghz - 16 GB DDR3 - 80 GB SATA
Intel Pentium D 950 3.5 Ghz - 2 GB DDR2 - 2x160 in RAID 1 for TFS
Intel Pentium 4 478 2.8 Ghz w/ HT - 2 GB DDR2 - 80 GB IDE
just picked up yesterday:
Dell PERC5/i with BBS
4 x 74 GB Seagate Cheetah 15k.5
cheap RAIDMAX case - going to VM machine
HP Compaq dv6700 - Pentium D 3.4 - 2 GB DDR2 - no drive - ATI Radeon x1300 - Broadcom 10/100/1000 Ethernet PCI-E x1
2x 160 GB SATA (WD Blue and Seagate)
250 GB Samsung SATA
all for $140
4 in 3 Cooler Master drive cage - $24 (Newegg)
2x Samsung 22x DVD burner SATA - $26 (Newegg)
picked up a Dell Poweredge 24u rack -
came with a Dell PowerVault 112T
and possibly an HP with a Phenom II X4 945 - 8 GB DDR3 - 1 TB Western Digital - HD 5450 later this month
