With all due respects, the days of 2x2GB kits going for $80-$100, are gone, with top-notch Hypers being the exception.
While the ram cooling fan is a plus, few people actually buy these so the value is sorta suspect. Add $10 for the fan and $60 at most for the kit, if really good clocker, otherwise more like $50.
Right now in the Marketplace you can find several quality 2x2 kits in the $50 to $60 range and those haven't sold.

No way...reggiesanchez has a kit of the Corsair DDR3-2000 with those same timings (Powerchip ICs) listed for $60 right now, he did have them at $65 for weeks before he pulled them, then relisted them at the $60. He doesn't have the fan, but then again, few want / need the fan.

For Sale thread:
I buy a ton of ram and with all the available options for ram it would have to be an awesome 2x2GB kit for me to pay more than $45-$50 these days. I can buy a new Crucial Ballistix Tactical 2x4GB kit for $65 from the egg that will clock past DDR3-2000 with ease, or run DDR3-1600 at 8-8-8. Or for $40 to $47, depending on who has it in stock, I can pick up a kit of 2x4GB Samsung that will also run past 2000 and beyond.
Unfortunately for you (and me, because l have a ton of it), that is the state of ram today. GLWS.Edited by Reefa_Madness - 4/18/12 at 1:00pm
