I really hate it when people say they don't like the Note because of the size when they haven't even tried it. It's like when you get your new 55" TV you think it's awesome because of it's size. It is really the same with this phone, but for some reason people are scared of it due to the size because some stupid over critical rumor started. Size is really the best part of this phone as I could never go back to anything smaller (I have one).

Don't assume anything. Before I bought the skyrocket I walked around for an hour with the demo note in my pocket. I like using my phone single handed and the skyrocket is almost too big to do that. After using a larger phone for nearly a month its not as huge a deal for me.

Just set up vlingo so when you long press the search button, it runs it, and then you can dial

How do I do that?

I've been reading up on it, but I'm not sure if it supports voice dial either.

Sure... it'll be announced and released in 6-8 months. I don't care. I'm getting a phone now so if it won't be on shelves within a few weeks its irrelevant to this conversation.

i can say that my Hero, Evo, and Evo 3D didn't have any issues with voice dial, but i definitively understand just because one phone didnt have the issue dosent mean another one wont. i tried reading up on a few things about the one, and i didn't find anything that said there was issues with using the Bluetooth, but i really didn't see anything that individually tested this function.

If you're on AT&T. Check out the HTC One X, a 4.7" 720p resolution display or the Samsung Note a massive 5.3" screen. I personally like bigger screens.

ROMs basically improve the practicality of a phone. I have the Samsung Vibrant and using a custom ROM my phone is so much better than stock.

You're going to get better colors on AMOLED no doubt

i just got the samsung note. This thing is perfection......i wanted something with a bigger screen and this thing is fast, beautiful display and really does "bridge the gap" between phone and tablet. While holding it up to your head is funny and kind of annoying (i didnt mind but everyone seems to think its like holding a brick to your face) the phone is super light, and i think it has way to many positives that out weight the negatives.

I would swing at the Note if you looking for a media power house smile.gif

I have another day to decide. We just got hit with a snow storm so I might be stuck with this phone as I'm nor driving either of my cars today... already switched both over to their summer wheel/tire setups. My wife's car would be alright as it is running performance all seasons, but my car practically has track tires on it ;-).
