Getting a SSD

Thread Starter
Wanted to get a SSD for boot and to store some files/games.

What's the best bang for the buck SSD can I get? Prefer 64GB don't need that much.

Window 7 64-bit Home Prem or Ultimate will be installed.

Thanks!

I second this, with the number of deals I've been seeing around and in terms of performance, quality and price this is probably one of the better choices out of everything. I highly suggest staying away from low end OCZ SSD's because you truly get what you pay for in that respect.

That plextor on newegg today was faster and better. Based on the same controller too.

Does it have the same reliability as the M4 though? I haven't heard too much about it to be honest but I tend to stick with tried and true until I learn more about things.

Anandtech raised the same question with their review. The plextor drive...especially the M3 Pro is the fastest Marvel based SSD.

Also, Plextor isn't poor and they have an in house firmware team like Intel.
