I'll openly admit, it's dirty and I will clean it and organize chords.

88 is fine while loaded.

If your worried, back you clocks and volts down a smidge. The move volts, the more heat.

So nvidia control panel wouldn't change heat?

This has got to be a bloody record of the most posts in a thread where the OP just needs to clean his case and reapply TIM doing a good job.

STOP DOUBLE POSTING!

Not so much. Afterburner is a much better tool for fan control and clocks.

Nothing beats a good custom fan profile. But for you at the moment, I'd suggest your GPU fans to 100% full time, until you attend to your cleaning and HS reset. smile.gif

Hey I'm not familiar with gpu alright, sorry that I don't know how to do that.

You could also just put a like 80mm fan in there and aim it at your 580... it'd lower temps by quite a bit. I did that when I had SLI 460's folding and the temps would get into the high 80's .. a single 80mm fan pointed in between the cards reduced that to 68-72C.

I wouldn't recommend staying at that temp for extended periods of time personally. My 580 is OC'd to 940 mhz at 1.15 volts, never rises above 72 C. Get an aftermarket cooler! On air for the GPU!

Tell you what you get this freaking thread solved so it's not constantly at the top of my subscriptions (yes I'm subbed to folding and nvidia) and I won't have to yell.
