Got my new, sexy Samsung! Bye bye big red V!

After drooling on videos, web reviews and pictures of it and weeks of thinking and researching if the big V would ever get it, I decided to go for it and got myself a lovely white Samsung Galaxy Note and jumped ship from Verizon all these years and now to AT&T. As it stands, internet rumors held very little water about the Note ever coming to Verizon anytime soon, if at all.  Considering my Droid X has been on the slow side for awhile and that I was feeling the upgrade bug, I decided to go for it.  Got it from costco for $250 with extra accessories, no activation charge and no restocking fee if I decide not to keep phone and AT&T service.

Verizon has been pretty good to me over the years, other then the lame pricing plans and what I think is a lackluster selection of phones, especially in comparison to AT&T the last year or so. Hell, its because of this Galaxy Note i'm even doing this at all, lol!

Needless to say, im not dissapointed so far in my first night with it. The screen is a sight to behold, its so freaking big and beautiful, it puts my first gen Droid X to utter shame. Hell it almost fits within the screen of the Galaxy Note itself! The S pen is gonna be alot of fun to play around with.  I'm gonna be testing the phone alot before I decide to close off my verizon account within the next week, but I honestly, unless the AT&T coverage in my area is poor, I don't think I can go back to Verizon, let alone another Droid, Samsung makes helluva nice stuff!

Awesome! I'm probably going to get one when they update it with ICS and the premium suite. Oh I'm a costco member...tell me how I can get such a great deal without a new contract biggrin.gif

Woot Woot! Nice pick man I got one too biggrin.gif. Would post a pic but don't know where it is in the vast space that is the internet.

Don't know if you are into modding, but over on XDA they have some leaked ICS versions in case you get board of GB. I tried one out and it makes the Note so much zippier and helps utilize the HD screen like HD Netflix, HD youtube player, and other stuff.

Also, I've noticed the S-Pen will break really easily so watch out for that.
