question about the nzxt phantom

Thread Starter
1) the switch in the back that turns lights on, only has one set of leds (the top 200mm fan) with factory leds on it, if i buy another nzxt fan, with leds on it, and plug them in to the provided fan controller, will the leds power on/off with the switch?

2) has anyone come up with a way to have the NZXT light strip rigged to that led power switch

thanks

1.) No, that switch is only directly connected to the top rear 200mm fan slot. The fan controller can only lower/brighten the LEDs on any fans connected.

2.) No, the NZXT light kits connect to their own power on/off switch and brightness setting switch, which are on a connected pci bracket.

i knew about number 2,

the answer to number 1 is dumb, why even include that lol,

my question for number 2 was ore of a modding question.

Well, I think the rear 200mm fan slot was the only one designed to have the on/off light switch because the other 200mm is completely optional. If I'm not mistaken it may only work for both top fans if they are both NZXT brand
