Osx software on a usb.

Hey guys,

I left my cd for osx at a friends but i have a dmg file of it on my rig. Is there a program that i can use on my desktop to put it on a usb?
I'm running windows 7 on desktop.

what version of OSX? this matters

okay, they only way you're going to be able to successfully do this is to format your usb drive and use a 3rd party software called TransMac. Go to http://www.asy.com/scrtm.htm to download a free 15 day trial.

In the right-side panel of Transmac, right click on your USB Drive >> Format Disk >> Format with Disk Image

now select the SL .dmg and you should be all set. If this doesn't work you might want to try formatting the thumb drive to hsf with a GUID table but you should be fine with the above method.
