What is going to be the limiting factor?

Thread Starter
hey everyone, just some last minute questions before I go off exploring on my own

What do you think is going to be the limiting factor in an overclock with this hardware? -------> I have an e6600 (with zalman cnps9500AT cooler), Asus P5W DH Deluxe, and 2gb Corsair C4 5400 ram.

Is better ram going to make a big difference? Would a motherboard like the P5WDGT Workstation Pro give much better performance and potential?

Lastly given the hardware, any tips on what voltage I will likely need, and what speeds I'll probably get up to.

cheers.

I would say the RAM. Better RAM has everything to do with overclocking, and that mobo has been doing fine for OC'ing. Get some higher quality RAM, and your OC will go through the roof.
