Tried chrome - doesn't save OCN password.

Hi there,

I'm trying chrome for the first time in a few months, I recall everything working fine apart from the adblocker, which made me go back to FF.

Anyway, I'm back with Chrome and it works fine (again) still no proper adblocking, but that's okay, it has improved slightly.

All my passwords save automatically apart from this website.

It saves my OCN password on Firefox, so there's no issue there. It just refuses to offer me the option to save it on Chrome.

For some reason Google had to dumb-down the settings, so I can't add an account / password either...

I have tried a full reset off account / password history. Didn't work.

Any thoughts ?

in chrome it asks if you want to save the password the first time you type it,and if you click on 'not now' now 'no',then it will never save any autofill options.

you should go into settings and find that menu and unblock OCN from that.

Hmm, I logged in once a long time ago and just never logged out, when I launch Chrome OCN is still logged in. Pretty sure they have adblock too, I'm using it.

you should be able to go to settings and look throught something called " saved passwords" and there you can see all the sites you have saved and the passwords , you can even add and erase.

Yeah, if I wasn't so OCD about my internet cache / cookies / etc and didn't erase it, I'd still be logged in too. tongue.gif

Same as above.

EDIT : The thing is that I don't even get the option to save the password for OCN. Even when it is not blocked.

Fortunately for me, I use Lastpass and not Chrome's built-in passwords manager and it works with OCN fine.

I tried that, it did indeed save all my passwords, although it was a bit slow. Slower than the actual browser anyway.

So... until this gets fixed, and ads / pop ups are blocked properly, I guess I'm back to Firefox.

Try this from inside chrome:

chrome://settings/personal

Manage passwords is right there.
