Yeah I agree it would look way better with all black interior - I was contemplating painting it myself and may still do it at some point as a future update.

Will start to do some OC'ing to see what this bad boy can do.

Who uses Vantage anymore?

No but really, 3DM11 is much more kind to BD. It actually does pretty damn good especially in the upper 4 ghz's

I will be running that next, I just happened to have Vantage on a drive so it was easy to run. Downloading 3DM11 right now and will post the result as soon as it is done.

BTW, I also ran Vantage on my Intel i7-3960 rig just for a comparision and the result is P32333
http://3dmark.com/3dmv/4057437;jsessionid=11zjj4w9d8fvdobyllgqpjp0

Will also re-run 3DM11 on my Intel rig and post the score as a comparision

Here is the result from my new FX-8150 build at stock settings: P7012

After I overclock it I will run it again to see the result and post an update.

Realised as I was downloading stuff that I haven't yet installed any other drives besides the SSD for the OS, so I took a look at the drives I had kicking around in a server I wasn't using

700

For now I think I will go with a 2.0TB 7200RPM WD Enterprise Drive instead of the 1.0TB WD drive

400

Yeah good point, the i7-3960 is smoking fast, but I have a feeling that when I am done overclocking the FX-8150 it will be a lot closer tongue.gif
