All the parts were evaluation units - they had to be put to use, and that is what we did biggrin.gif

Well it started as a team building exercise - we asked some people to sponsor it by providing parts and components and ended up getting quite a bit of support.

So I recently picked up some new Corsair Dominator ram and I wanted to see how much difference (if any) it would make to my system performance.

Here is a pic of the new Ram:

Before I install it, I ran 3Dmark - score was P10856 using Corsair Vengance

what do you have memory speed 1333mhz or 2133?

It was at 1333, but I changed to to 1866. This was right after updating the BIOS, so I think I might need to reset to the previous BIOS version and try again
