After that, his loot table is put back down to average. They've made the idea of MF running bosses pointless, in an effort to get people to play the game.
i.e, you'd have just as much chance of getting a super rare, good item, from your average enemy as that boss now.

There will still be farming in the form of area runs. There will be areas with higher incidences of Rare/Champion monsters that will undoubtedly be used for loot farming, since those baddies will not have their loot tables reset.

Blizzard already stated they will have a team working on nerfing/buffing drops in certain areas of the game. If an area is farmed a lot, they will nerf the drops and/or buff drops in other areas. We also have the new valor buff that will render single boss runs very pointless over playing the actual game and not leaving. There will not be single boss runs over and over. Anyone who does this will get far less drops than someone who doesn't. Any area that is highly farmed, will get balanced.

They have a huge team working on the game, and will keep working on the game. D2 still receives support a decade later, but nothing like D3 will in it's prime.

The game should patch and launch even if your account doesn't have beta access. If you can't launch the game and see the login screen, somethings wrong.

You should not try to launch the game via the exe you downloaded. That is just a downloader that downloads the client, you should have an actual game exe after it is done.

They actually said that there is a slight SLIGHT chance that people who are just signed up for beta will get in.

No, read the thread, its not that long.

From everything I've seen so far, I have no doubt I will put another 1,000 hours into this diablo, at least.

You'd better hope "at least" 1000! tongue.gif

From what i've heard, they plan on raising level caps via expansions and everything. I think D2 fans will get 1,000 hours out of the core game, and every expansion come back for another 500 hours or so. I'm hoping D3 get's more "after release" content than D2.. for how popular D2 was, one expansion seemed lacking. thumb.gif

My main concern is that i'll also have GW2 to focus on... which will probably consume a heck of a lot more time overall for me. I had over 365 days /played in WoW when I quit... tongue.gif
