[Battle.net] Diablo III Open Beta Weekend! - Page 46

I've beaten it with barbarian, wizard and monk. Loving the game, this open beta made me decide to get CE. I can't freaking log off! And now I can't wait for it to come out!
EU have not been working at all, I have not checked today tho, but the game is working fine on US

Damn shame. After getting the 3006 error, I left it alone for about 20 minutes then suddenly I was able to resume where I left off yesterday. Luckiest slip in biggrin.gif

i've tryed it and its a nice game, i never played any diablo, but really enjoyed the beta of D3, gameplay is fantastic, made a barbarian and lvled up to 11 and its really awesome, the crafting system is nice and easy to use, the quest are nice, the graphics are good and have really good physics.
overall it's a really good game, i don't understand why there is so much hate on it

Most are trolls that knew they wouldn't like the game before they even launched it, and/or people nitpicking because game isn't PERFECT for them. I would put my money on 99% of the people complaining already bought the game, or plan to at launch.

The other half of the complaints just aren't valid... like "it's too easy", "it's too short", etc. Everyone should expect this part of the game to be easy and short. The game will be successful, this game just has a lot of hype and lots of fans will adjust and learn that most of their complaints aren't valid with the full game.

The #1 complaint is customization. D2 had lots of it, but only 1-2 builds per class were viable in Hell difficulty. Everyone was using cookie cutter specs, right down to the last stat point. This game will likely have more viable builds at max difficulty, so I assume those complaints will start to disappear after people are allowed to level past level 13 and get more skills unlocked. Lots of people aren't looking at the whole picture, and basing their opinion on the first 13 levels.

The best thing you can ask is:
How much fun was farming blood raven, on normal difficulty, over and over in D2? That's what the D3 beta practically is.

Any complaints about D3 being too easy, are invalid until I can see full Nightmare mode completion. tongue.gif

Wait for Hell and Inferno difficulties. There's a video floating around of blizzard employees saying they spent HOURS trying to kill elite packs in Inferno with massive repair bills. In normal these packs are just like "meh 2-3 shots instead of 1 shot". It's brutally hard until you get really good gear. tongue.gif

Great game overall.

However, I do not like the fact that I could not add points to attributes.

Also did not like how I the skill tree never showed any important stats like dps. And the dps never changed regardless of what primary skill I was using. This was a vital part of D2, and I hope they include it in the final release.

Agreed, little details like this are still missing in this game, and it's probably the only negative thing i've got to say about it. I think/hope they might have done this for the beta just so that people can have an easier experience/introduction with the game. You hear that blizz! Give us the option and the little numbery details so we can stare at them to see what will increase our DPS by 0.1! thumb.gif
