Normal mechanics are different than other difficulties, in terms of mobs and AI. The beta also serves as a tutorial, and it's suppose to be more linear than the rest of the game. No diablo fans play normal.. they beat it and never go back. The real content is on later difficulties. I think you will enjoy the game, for veteran members, your true fun may not start until Nightmare or even Hell. I mean how much fun would you have it you could only kill blood raven in D2 on normal difficulty over and over?
