Help getting a new graphics card.

Hello,

So recently i have come upon some money, and I was hoping to upgrade my computer. Looking at it's specs i knew that I wanted upgrade my graphics card... Do you think the HD6670 is a good choice?
I have around ~70 british pound to spend, and can only shop from Amazon.co.uk. I would really like for the card to be GDDR5, I will mostly use it for playing League of Legends, and normal computer work...

Thanks in advance, Ataken.

you are working a 330 watt powersupply? if so i dont think you should for something higher than a GTS 450 1gb ddr5 or a GTX 550Ti 1GB ddr5.

here are what you are looking for comparing to the HD 6670 you have mentioned.

HD 6670 vs GTS 450

http://www.hwcompare.com/10694/geforce-gts-450-1gb-vs-radeon-hd-6670-oem/

and here is where you can buy it from.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Nvidia-01G-P3-1351-KR-Graphics-GDDR5/dp/B005320R7G/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1334903510&sr=1-6
HD 6670 vs GTX 550 Ti

http://www.hwcompare.com/10679/geforce-gtx-550-ti-vs-radeon-hd-6670-oem/

and here is where you can buy it from

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-nVIDIA-GeForce-Graphics-Express/dp/B005G50ET6/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1334903395&sr=1-5

so basically these cards are about to same price (close) of the HD 6670 for higher performance.

good luck and i hope this info was useful. thumb.gif

+1 for 550ti ^

Either that or aim for a 6790.

Nope, it's 500W tongue.gif

I think I'm going to go for the 7750, but not quite sure yet... It seems like a good card, but will it go good with my PC (the processor and power supply)?

EDIT: The thing with 550Ti is it starts at ~90GBP, and that is a bit out of my range, unless I can pull out some more money, but until then I wouldn't look at the ~90's range...

Thanks for your help so far guys smile.gif

It's a good card but it's not worth the price, maybe if it was 20 pounds cheaper.

Cards like the 550Ti or 6790 are far superior and can be had for similar prices.

if its graphics card is what you are dealing with, just make sure it fits and that you have enough power to support the card. if you think the 7750 is the right choice.. think again
