Pricewise, the GTX550Ti is £88 where as the HD6770 is £82, but looking at this GPU comparison, it seems not only is HD6770 cheaper, but also better. What do you think?

No. The 550ti is definitely better than the 6770. The 550ti compares moreso with the 6790.

One question.. you run 2GB of RAM on Windows 7?.. how do you survive? I couldn't even get by with 4GB.. and now 8GB is showing it's limits..

Erm... Everything runs perfectly? System load up is very fast, I can play games steadily (Leauge of Legends at 75Fps steady with my current setup). I had no problems with Windows7 2GB ram...

I guess I just don't run millions of programs at once, since I'm not too good of a multi-tasker biggrin.gif At most i have Skype, Foobar (Music player), and League of Legends running no lags...

I think I am going to go for the HD6770 as it is cheaper and still a good card for my needs biggrin.gif

Good choice. thumb.gif

I just saw you were on the 32Bit version so maybe that one uses less resources or something, because my Windows 7 idles at about 1.5 -2GB

Yeah probably that tongue.gif Could have installed 64-bit, but never really had it, so was unsure of it tongue.gif Anyway, I'm happy with 32-bit and it's causing me no problems tongue.gif

Thanks for your help with the graphics card. smile.gif
