Nope. I had a Silverstone Strider Gold 1000w but it lacked the cables and connectors for 3way 8pin+6pin. Could have just bought an adapter but oh well I wanted to sell it and get a new platinum efficiency and hoped it would make my overall system quieter/cooler. The quiet thing ain't happening.

Do you have the switch set to hybrid or normal? Is the fan facing up or down?

Set to normal, fan is facing down.

my first unit die a few mins after instal, need to rma it. Not happy. Mine is fan up and sucking case air to exaust out back
post #18 of 19
You sure about that? I think the fans are set up to suck air through the back of the PSU and out through the fan. You might be blowing air into your case unless you took it apart and flipped the fan over. I could be wrong on that.

really, hmm will have to check that out, may be blowing air into the case than. LOL, stupid noobie move

This is why we cant have nice things biggrin.gif
