looking for something better than my current speakers..

Hey Guys well...I own an old Cambridge 2500, The best part about it is the Dolby Digital Decoder / Amplifier. Love that little box with so many manual control options. Bad news is that the Decoder has started going bad after so many years of service and I cant seem to fix it with my limited skills.

^^ thats what I got right now, smile.gif I want something thats the same or better with a external decoder / control box too if possible, and oh I am using internal realtek HD audio and cant use a Sound card due to there being no slots left. Would the logitech 5.1 X-530 be in the same level or slightly better? Should I plunge and get the Z680's or Z5500's second hand? Might be able to get some for $150 - $200.

You could try auditioning the X-530s, they should be available in virtually every big-box score and Best Buy has them on display.
