BF3, Possible VSYNC trick? No input lag + frame sync (no tearing). - Page 4

The actual drawback on this is that you run on 59 fps so there is a drawback. For me 59 vs 60 fps is still noticeable so I didn't stay with this method, when I read about it on the past.

For me locked 59fps feels smoother than 60 because no any kind of input lagging. I bet if you play 1 hour with locked 59fps you can't notice difference.

Have anyone tried capping the frame at 60.1 and turning on Adaptive Vsync?
I have triple buffering off also , and it works better than traditional Vsync. Maybe a placebo.
In close encounters , enemy always would see me before while using Vsync capped with 58 fps.
But this trick worked better smile.gif

Im sick of the enemy that see me first when I turn on Vsync. Including Adaptive.
Turned back to fps cappers.
