Piledriver - Page 63

OK so the 8300 clocks in at performance wise all over the i5 neiborhood. So add another video card? go for Eyefinity? maybe my old lady wont notice a 8320/50 & a another 7870 parked in my cpu case. If I did that I would have to get 2 more 24" 1080i monitors. She might notice it. Do ya think that would be good enough for BF3 on 3 monitors?

Anyone with a 8350/8320 have a pair of 680's or a 690? We could settle this once and for all.

What are you looking to settle? amazes me bf3 is used as an example to justify bulldozer/piledriver performance. Bf3 single player and multiplayer are two completely separate entities. Mutliplayer is very cpu intense and bulldozer does not do better because of the multi threaded game. It bottlenecks gpu`s in a cpu intense scenario. I own one with 2x gpu. I see it every day. To a point though the bottleneck is irrelative as gaming at 60 hz my rig keeps well above 60fps even with a huge bottleneck. Not sue if adding more screens would help as believe performs better at higher res or maybe 1440p

That for BF3 multiplayer the 8350 will offer betters fps. Even if someone has a single 680 i'll disable SLI/HT and we can test against each other

No chance whatsoever. In multiplayer with multiple gpu at 1080p. Piledriver a 15% increase over my fx8120 and my fx8120 gets avg 70% utilisation in armoured kill. I would be interested to see that
