Side Fan on Armor Jr.?

Thread Starter
Theres a hole on the window of the Armor Jr. Thermaltake. Will installing a fan there help cool the computer significantly? and does anyone know what size fan fits the hole for all you armor jr buyers? And also, will I need anything else other than a fan and fan grill for it?

yes a fan in the side panel helps bring in fresh air to the CPU to cool it down. the fan size would be a 90mm fan

Is grill absolutely necessary? Or is it just for looks?

You could use a filter to prevent said dust build-up.

The grill is not necessary, though if you have children/curious animals, i suggest using one. Filters do trap alot of dust, but really restric airflow. So its give or take... your choice which to use, or both...
