Gaming laptop for $1300 or less

Thread Starter
I need a laptop for around $1300 max shipped that can play recent games with medium to high settings

I have a i7 2670QM i picked up from a friend so I can go cheap on the CPU as long it will allow me to upgrade it with mine.

This will be my only computer for a year

I prefer a matte screen 1080 if possible

Thanks

Thanks, it has everything I want. I should be able to switch CPU's without a problem.
I see they offer a military discount, I wonder how much it is. Do you think it would be worth the$95 To upgrade the screen to the 95% NTSC color Gamut?

Thanks, so many choices smile.gif is there any difference in quality between the two? This rig will be stationary 99% of the time so the extra size wouldn't be an issue.

It'd be easier on your eyes if you had a larger screen.

Is there a big difference between the GTX 670M - GTX 675M ? If I went with the GTX 675M I would have to get the 15" screen

Its the same difference between the 570m and 580m.

Benchmarks show around 17-36% increase in performance. How much does the upgrade cost from 670 to 675?
