Best way to mount a fan on an HD 6570?

Thread Starter
Hi, I recently bought an Antec fan and zipties. However, I've had troubles ziptying it to this card...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161374&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4003003&SID=1fy8ud6znqfg0

So what other ways could I mount on the card? Should I use masking tape or what?

Also, I see the card has a 4 pin connector, does this plug directly into the PSU? And also is it safe to remove the connectors connected to the PSU that are blocking the open slot?

Try foam based double sided tape.

No idea what you are talking about.

Hot glue it to the heatsink. The heatsink will never get hot enough to start re-melting the hot glue unless somehow it hits 100C +.

Hot glue is easy to take off too if you don't over-do it and decide to take the fan off later.

It's this one right here...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835209003&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NA

Also, I noticed it has a 4-pin connector... That'll plug directly into the PSU right?

Also, one my PSU there are 3 spots to plug in power. 2 of these are already used, but one is free. Is it safe to remove the 2 power sources, so I can plug in the fan?

I guess I'm just trying to ask, once/if I mount it, where do I actually plug the 4-pin connector?

It comes with a molex (4 pin) AND a regular fan connector on the same line..

You can plug it into a fan header OR plug it into a molex plug. You don't need to use both.
