pci-e NIC

Thread Starter
My onboard nic is crapping out and dropping connection until I reboot every couple hours. My 7970 hangs over one of my PCI slots, and the other one is occupied by my xonar dg.

This nic looks like it would work well between 2 cards in xfire if I ever went down that road.

Does anyone have any experience with this nic or another one? I would buy an XXX-palladium-COD-360-1337SL4Y3R-THUNDEREFF gaming nic, but I have max $30 to spend and less would be very favorable.
