Crossfire Perfomance Issues, Help

Problem:

Crossfire 5770 cards won't perform.

I assume bottle neck or not enough power to the cards.

Can anyone advise how I could improve the cards performance?

I am asking anyone why my computer lags with 2 of these cards set up and if I can disable anything that's doesn't really matter that effects the performance of the cards.



Someone help me,

hmmm did you buy a $1000 dollar monitor and are attempting to run stuff at crazy resolutions? i don't see how two 5770's and a phenom II x6 (got that from another one of your posts) could come out to 2 grand.

@snoogins: more like 1500 I spent more money on the components then the viedo. at the time both cards cost 450

Yes it can. You will get less FPS if you're playing at 2560 x 1440 than if you're playing at 1920 x 1080. Larger resolutions require more GPU power.

Edit: Did you buy your pc prebuilt or from ibuypower or something? I'm not seeing 2000 worth of parts.

are you trying to play games? what resolution are you playing at and at what settings? the higher the resolution, the more the cards are taxed performance wise.

$450 for 5770s? Never knew them to be that expensive!
