Crossfire Perfomance Issues, Help - Page 4

post #31 of 100
You got ripped off pretty badly. Like a few people said, return as much as you can, what you bought it worth $900CAD at the most. Especially RAM. If you have 4GB then you shouldn't have spent more than $50CAD. Same with the Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray burners are $80-$100CAD.

I agree. Return every item you purchased (EVERY ITEM PLZ)

If you have 2k to spend. Many members here will help you pick out a nice system.

It's only been a day. I really hope you are able to return your stuff. Most companies have a 14 day no questions return policy. Even if you had to pay shipping to return some stuff, it'd be worth it.

To address your actual problem. Amd unless clocked highly are horrible with xfire/sli. You will need 4.0ghz+ to fully utilize those cards fully. Also, xfired 5770's are actually really fast, don't beleive the people saying otherwise as they are talking without knowledge.

There's no way an x6 would bottleneck 2 5770's.... even at stock clocks. You clearly underestimate x6's and overestimate 5770's....

Umm, look at the benchmarks. Google is your friend. I would post links but I can't on my phone. Performance from stock vs oc'd to 4.0+ can increase performance a lot.

@Prophecysill

Can you just click on your profile and add your system specifications please. It makes it so much easier to see what were talking about here. Stop posting how much your pc cost.

Agreed, at 1045t will push them easily. BUT, this is all moot because OP is gonna return it anyway. Right ? biggrin.gif Do what you can in that aspect and ill set you up a components list that will laugh at anything you wanna play for 2k bro. And just remember this lesson and research everything closely before throwing down your hard earned cash.
