@G3RG

I have one set up on the "bridge" i have pushed down and it’s snug. It’s bent in a U shape connecting the other one.

You have to open the CATALYST CONTROL CENTER and enable CROSSFIRE from there
post #74 of 100
Try running the Heaven 3.0 bench, or 3dMark11, or something like that. Do both cards get usage on different tests (and games), apart from Furmark? If so, then you're probably just having a problem with Furmark. Which I for sure wouldn't worry about, myself ...

BTW, why don't you go ahead and post your 3dMark11 score ... I'm sure a few folks around here will be able to tell ya if it looks right for that rig. It's a good start on figuring whether there's ACTUALLY something wrong w/your performance.

ALSO THE NEXT PERSON WHO RUDELY TELLS THIS GUY HE OVERPAID IS GETTING AN INFRACTION.

Defective card?

With my crossfire I notice that if I am not running the program to stress test in a full screen mode (not windowed) that only one card will activate and got 100% while the other will sit dormant. Try firing up your game and play it for a bit then alt tab and check out your GPU usage on both cards. Also, you can set up MSI afterburner to display your gpu usage while you are in game. I will show up on the top right hand corner of the screen.

If you still think one is defective take one out and stress test it and then try the other to isolate the problem. With AMD drivers though I have noticed with my5870's that I normally don't go for the newest drivers. I am not on my gaming computer right now but I am pretty sure that it is using 11.1 drivers. I stayed at 10.4 (I think) for the longest time. Also, make sure you have the crossfire profiles and like the other members have said, having the green drive to push everything will slow you down a bit. SSD's are great but a good WD black with high cache or a veloraptor will give you more than a noticeable difference.

Good luck, also overclock that CPU!

Friggin SICK of cleaning up this thread :

Sorry to be rude but with that thread title, what kind of comments do you expect?
You are a mod right? If you don't want comments like that then change the thread title, as simple as that.

I don't think anybody has said this but make sure you are running benches and games in FULL SCREEN or crossfire will not enable.

Sorry about your PC man. Research is your friend.
